When the Eads family in Charles Town reached out to us once again, we were honored to be welcomed back into their home. After previously partnering with Mountaineer Kitchens & Baths for their kitchen and other home updates, they entrusted us this time with a hall bathroom remodel that brought fresh function and beauty to a key shared space.
Their trust in our process and our craftsmanship has made working with the Eads family a rewarding experience, and this latest project is another example of how consistent attention to detail can elevate everyday living.
A Clean and Updated Look
The scope of work for this bathroom focused on refreshing the room while maintaining certain elements like the tile flooring and toilet. We removed the existing tub and fiberglass surround, vanity with top, and older lighting fixtures. Our team carefully protected the existing features and made thoughtful upgrades throughout the room, including:
- A new American Standard Princeton 60″ alcove tub
- Shower walls fully tiled with Sahara Carrara honed marble 2×10 tile in a brick pattern, sealed for durability and longevity
- A new 60″ Yorktowne Iconic vanity cabinet in a Biscotti finish, topped with Vicostone Elbert quartz countertops and dual undermount sinks
Functional Upgrades with Style
Beyond the beautiful tilework and cabinetry, this bathroom received a range of mechanical and cosmetic enhancements, such as:
- Updated plumbing, including new Moen Greenfield brushed nickel shower controls, dual vanity faucets, and tub/shower trim
- A fully reworked shower control valve and drain
- Electrical upgrades including a new fan, recessed lighting over the tub/shower, and relocated vanity lighting—placed on dimmers for added ambiance
- New base and shoe molding to match the home’s existing trim
- Final painting of walls, ceilings, and trim using high-quality Sherwin Williams products
We also installed updated bathroom hardware, including towel bars, robe hooks, and a new shower curtain rod. The mirrors and vanity lights, provided by the homeowner, added personalized finishing touches to the space.

This hall bathroom project shows that even in smaller spaces, thoughtful planning and expert craftsmanship can result in a space that feels elevated and enjoyable to use. Whether guests or family are using the room, it now reflects a polished, updated design that blends form and function.
