Kitchens
The room everyone ends up in.
Remodels and new construction, designed with you in our showroom and installed by our own crews.
Kitchen remodeling and design
Layout, cabinets, counters and lighting, planned as one room.
Whether you’re opening up a closed-off kitchen or building from the ground up, one team handles the design, the selections and the install. Most of the time goes into planning, so once work starts a typical kitchen is finished in about 2 to 3 weeks.

Remodeling
Rework what isn’t working.
We look at how you actually use the room, then recommend the layout that fits: galley, L-shape, U-shape, or an island that finally gives you counter space.
Walls can move too. On the Jackson kitchen in Harpers Ferry we relocated a load-bearing wall to open the whole main level.

New construction
Building new? Bring us the plans.
We work with you and your builder on the kitchen layout, cabinetry, fixtures and lighting, so the room is right on move-in day instead of on your someday list.

Design
Find your style before you pick a single door.
Traditional, transitional, modern, cottage, craftsman. We help you narrow it down, then put real door styles, finishes and countertops side by side in the showroom so you see how they work together.

Cabinets and countertops
Cabinet lines for every budget.
From builder grade to fully custom, with quartz and natural stone countertops templated with laser precision and cut on CNC equipment for tight, clean seams.

Kitchen questions
What people ask us first.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Start to finish, planning, design, ordering and scheduling usually take 3 to 6 months. Once work begins, a typical kitchen takes about 2 to 3 weeks. Size, materials and complexity all play a part.
What’s the most durable countertop?
Granite is durable and budget friendly. Quartz is just as tough, maintenance free and stands up better to household cleaners, and it adds resale value if you sell down the road.
What’s the most popular cabinet color right now?
White still leads, but greys and warm wood tones are gaining ground, and two-tone kitchens that mix paint and stain are very popular.
My kitchen is dark. What can I do?
LED recessed lights for the room, under-cabinet lighting for the work surfaces, and a decorative fixture over the island or sink for a focal point.
Do you do all the work yourselves?
Our crews are Mountaineer employees with years of remodeling experience. For licensed trades like electrical and plumbing we bring in trusted partners we’ve worked with for years.
